The historic Hotel Nauvoo, operated for four generations by the Kraus family, houses artfully appointed guest rooms in the style of the approximately 170 year-old building without sparing any modern convenience. If you want to eat when the Hotel is closed, or just to try something different, our "Grandpa John's Café", just across the street from Hotel Nauvoo, offers wonderful breakfast and lunch buffets, supplemented by specialty grilled and fried items to your order. You can also order just a sandwich with sides of your choice. Whatever you choose, you can top it off with mouth-watering desserts, including hand-dipped ice cream, milkshakes, pies and cookies. And don't miss Grandpa John's Monday evening all-you can-eat buffet. Grandpa John's Cafe is quaint, ultra-clean, and the quality and quantity of food is exceptional. There is plenty of seating.
